The Hole in the Rock in Baldwin City, Kansas—the inspiration of song ‘Hol-n-Roc’ — sits on ancestral, traditional, and contemporary land of indigenous peoples including the Kaw, Kickapoo, and Osage nations.
Golden Brown recognizes and supports the sovereignty of Kansas’ federally-recognized Indian nations, for historic Indigenous communities in Kansas, for Indigenous individuals and communities who live there now, and those who were forcibly removed from their Homelands.
